HOW TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES:
You do not need to be a member to register for a program. We are no longer doing online bookings and credit card processing. To register, please contact “heather@tanglefoot.ca” or “info@tanglefoot.ca” and she will confirm details with you. Our preferred payment method is with e-transfer to “info@tanglefoot.ca” and once received, we will book you in! We also accept debit, cheque or cash payments. Click here for details: Registration

REGULAR SCHEDULE:

ONLINE CLASSES
We have a Livestreaming Intermediate Pilates class on Tuesdays at 4pm, and offer a weekly Strength Circuit recording.

IN PERSON FITNESS CLASSES
You can join at any time, for any number of weeks, and register for any combination of classes
. Discounts are offered to those taking 3 classes or more per week (and this includes Pilates and Yoga). The FALL schedule will consist of three series, each one being 5 weeks in duration. The dates are:

SERIES ONE – Sept 8 to Oct 10 (Classes are running Sept 30)
SERIES TWO – Oct 14 to Nov 14 (No classes Oct 13, Classes are running Nov 11)
SERIES THREE – Nov 17 to Dec 19

WEIGHT ROOM CIRCUIT – NEW! – This 60min instructed workout is for a maximum of six participants and is available to all fitness levels. Learn how to train properly in a Weight Room, and come away with workout plans to follow on your own. We’re currently offering three time slots, including Monday at 2pm, Monday at 5:30pm, and Friday at 10:30am. Additional time slots may be added based on demand.

SPIN – These 45min interval rides provide an efficient workout that builds cardio fitness, leg strength and stamina. These workouts are Wednesdays at 10:15am. We have the option of adding a second class on Wednesdays at 11:15am, and will be doing some weekend workouts later in the Fall. Watch for updates!

STRENGTH CIRCUIT – These 50min full body resistance workouts include a variety of workout formats to build whole body strength and stability. Open to all fitness levels, these sessions are currently running Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:00pm. Please note, the Wednesday class may be moved to 12:30pm if we add another Spin class Wed morning.

CARDIO STRENGTH CIRCUIT – Enjoy creative formats that target cardio, strength, balance and core stability. Great for ski conditioning! These 60min combination workouts are Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00am, and Thursdays at 5:30pm.

IN PERSON PILATES CLASSES
PILATES ESSENTIALS – This beginner class focuses on the principles of STOTT Pilates mat training. We follow a progressive learning approach in this program, gradually building the connection with our core, and developing the foundation for improving strength and stability. The next six week series will be Tuesdays at 6:45pm (start date Sept 16 or 23) and a day time class on Thursdays at 12 or 1pm (start date Sept 18 or 25). Pre-registration is required.

PILATES INTERMEDIATE – These classes are for those who’ve completed the Essentials program and are ready for more challenge, and the integration of small equipment.  The Intermediate classes include a hybrid (in-person and livestreaming) class on Tuesday at 4:00pm, and in-person classes on Tuesday at 5:30pm, Thursday at 9:15am and Thursday at 10:30am. These classes will also be offered in three series of 5 weeks (same dates as the Fitness classes above), and it’s okay to join in at any time (if space available).

PILATES REFORMER TRAINING – Heather also offers private or semi-private Reformer training (2 people max). Based on Pilates principles, the Reformer has a moving platform, tension springs and various accessories to both support, and challenge the body. A great approach to building whole body strength and stability. Please contact Heather directly to discuss this option.

IN PERSON YOGA CLASSES
All levels of experience are welcome, and these classes are accessible with registrations for six week sessions, or drop ins may be available, space permitting.
  

YOGA with Brooke
This class designed to help you connect with your body, release tension, improve mobility and achieve a deep sense of peace. Brooke has a gentle, therapeutic approach and welcomes all levels of experience. This class is Tuesdays, from 9:00 – 10:15am and the current four week series is Aug 19 to Sept 9. Available with registration, or drop in.

YOGA with Bailey NEW!
Find your flow, connect with your breath, and strengthen with intention in an inclusive environment! Bailey’s vinyasa yoga class draws from the ebb and flow of nature, combining breath and asana to strengthen mentally and physically for life in the Kootenays. All levels of experience welcome and beginners encouraged! This class will be be running on Wednesdays from 5:30 – 6:30pm, with a FREE offering on Sept 17, followed by a six week series Sept 24 to Nov 5 (no class Oct 1) and another series Nov 12 to Dec 17. Available with registration, or drop in.

CHAIR YOGA
This is gentle Chair Yoga class suitable for those with limited mobility, or those recovering from surgery, or anyone looking for a modified yoga experience. This class will help participants build strength, stability, and mobility through seated and standing poses and movements. Each class will end with a restorative practice to reduce stress and promote emotional well-being. This class is currently on hold. Please let us know if you are interested in this program!
