You do not need to be a member to register for a program. We are no longer doing online bookings and credit card processing. To register, please contact “heather@tanglefoot.ca” or “info@tanglefoot.ca” and she will confirm details with you. REGULAR SCHEDULE:
ONLINE CLASSES
We have a Livestreaming Intermediate Pilates class on Tuesdays at 4pm, and offer a weekly Strength Circuit recording.
IN PERSON FITNESS CLASSES
These classes are running continuously, but our next six week registration is from May 11 to June 19, 2026. You can join at any time, for any number of weeks, and register for any combination of classes. Discounts are offered to those taking 3 classes or more per week (and this includes Pilates and Yoga).
Please note there WILL NOT be classes on Monday, May 18, and there WILL NOT be a Wt Room Circuit on Friday, May 15 at 2pm (the other classes are still running on this date).
People signing up for Monday classes can have a 5 week, and the Friday 2pm Wt Room Circuit, can have a pro-rated registration, or can arrange a make up class elsewhere on the schedule prior to June 19.
WEIGHT ROOM CIRCUIT – NEW! – This 60min instructed workout is for a maximum of six participants and is available to all fitness levels. Learn how to train properly in a Weight Room, and come away with workout plans to follow on your own. These sessions are Mondays at 2:00pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm, and Fridays at 10:30am and 2:00pm.
SPIN – These 45min interval rides provide an efficient workout that builds cardio fitness, leg strength and stamina. We are now running two workouts on Wednesday mornings. The first one is at 9:15am, and the second is at 11:15am. There are also some occasional 60min Rides on Sundays at 10am.
STRENGTH CIRCUIT – These 50min full body resistance workouts include a variety of workout formats to build whole body strength and stability. Open to all fitness levels, these sessions are currently running Monday and Friday at 12:00pm, and Wednesday at 12:30pm.
CARDIO STRENGTH CIRCUIT – Enjoy creative formats that target cardio, strength, balance and core stability. Great for ski conditioning! These 60min combination workouts are Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00am, and Thursdays at 5:30pm.
IN PERSON PILATES CLASSES
UPRIGHT PILATES with Heather NEW!
Based on Pilates Principles, this class includes focused breathing, gentle movements and stretching, core activation, plus balance and strengthening exercises done in seated and standing positions. We’re hoping to resume this class on Tuesdays at 1:00pm, in mid May. Please let Heather know if you’d be interested!
PILATES ESSENTIALS – This beginner class focuses on the principles of STOTT Pilates mat training. We follow a progressive learning approach in this program, gradually building the connection with our core, and developing the foundation for improving strength and stability. We’re currently running an evening class on Tuesdays at 6:45pm, to May 26, and a day time class on Thursdays at 12pm, May 28, 2026. Please let Heather know if you’d like your name on the interest list for future offerings.
PILATES INTERMEDIATE – These classes are for those who’ve completed the Essentials program and are ready for more challenge, and the integration of small equipment. The Intermediate classes include a hybrid (in-person and livestreaming) class on Tuesday at 4:00pm, and in-person classes on Tuesday at 5:30pm, Thursday at 9:15am and Thursday at 10:30am. The next session is from May 12 to June 18, 2026.
PILATES REFORMER TRAINING – Heather also offers private or semi-private training on the Reformer training. Based on Pilates principles, the Reformer has a moving platform, tension springs and various accessories to both support, and challenge the body. An effective way to build whole body strength and stability. This training is provided privately, or in semi-private bookings for two or three people. Please contact Heather directly to discuss this option, and make arrangements.
IN PERSON YOGA CLASSES
All levels of experience are welcome, and these classes are accessible with registrations for six week sessions, or drop ins may be available, space permitting.
YOGA with Brooke
This class is designed to help you connect with your body, release tension, improve mobility and achieve a deep sense of peace. Brooke has a gentle, therapeutic approach and welcomes all levels of experience. This class is Tuesdays, from 9:00 – 10:15am, and Brooke will be teaching April 28, 12, 19, 26 (no class June 2), and then June 19, 16, and 23 (this date to be confirmed). Available with registration, or drop in.
YOGA with Bailey NEW!
Find your flow, connect with your breath, and strengthen with intention in an inclusive environment! Bailey’s vinyasa yoga class draws from the ebb and flow of nature, combining breath and asana to strengthen mentally and physically for life in the Kootenays. All levels of experience welcome and beginners encouraged! This class is Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30pm. Unfortunately, Bailey is unavailable in Jan and Feb, but we hope to see her back on the schedule some time in the Spring.
